2011-12 Concert Season

Rejoice and Be Merry

Rejoice and Be Merry In addition to our usual variety of unique arrangements of sacred and secular carols, this year's Holiday concert, Rejoice and be Merry, will feature the wonderfully talented Trinity Lutheran Church Handbell Choir, under the direction of our own H. Timothy Koch. The Handbell Choir will perform both a pre-concert recital and with The Harrisburg Singers. The Singers will open the performance with two movements of J. S. Bach's glorious Cantata No. 140, Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, which will be followed by such perennial favorites as Silent Night, God Rest You Merry Gentlemen, Good King Wenceslas, John Rutter's Ave Maria, and Santa Claus is Comin' to Town. Please plan to join us for these and many other Holiday treasures as we "ring in" the Holiday Season.
