2007-08 Concert Season
Joy to the World - Holiday 2007
This year, The Harrisburg Singers will be joined for our traditional Concert of Carols by the well known Bell Choir of Camp Hill United Methodist Church under the direction of Mr. Keith Roden.
As always, this year's Holiday program will be familiar sacred and secular carols, as well as music for Hanukkah. Highlights will include original compositions by Central Pennsylvania's own Robert Lau; Mack Wilberg's "I Saw Three Ships," Donald McCullough's "Go Tell it on the Mountain," and Mark Hayes' "Silent Night." Plus, Donald Cashmore's "Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen," and Jan Sweelinck's setting of "Hodie Christus natus est" and a very exciting setting of "Joy to the World" with bells and audience participation promises to ring in a very special Holiday Season.

CELEBRATE! Music of Praise and Joy - Spring 2008
Plan to join The Harrisburg Singers and The Keystone Brass Quintet for a concert featuring music of praise and joy ranging from Handel's Coronation Anthems to "A Prayer of the Middle Ages," by Howard Hanson, to Bob Chilcott's "Jubilate," to "Let There Be Praise," recorded by Sandi Patti.
The program will also include arrangements of familiar hymns and spirituals, such as "Be Thou My Vision," "My Jesus, I Love Thee," "Abide with Me," "Joshua Fit de Battle of Jericho" and "Ain't-a That Good News!" interwoven between uplifting renditions of anthems for brass, organ, piano and choir.
